It's not dodge it's all stealerships.... I got them monthly once my wife's altima hit 2 years old. I was polite th first 2-3 time hey can you take me off your call list we are keeping the car (salesperson sure sure thing no problem have a good day) next month just repeated and the time they called my work number it was on.

Yeah, it seems to only happen to people who buy there vehicles new.

We got calls on my wife's old Sentra she bought new, but her car now and my truck are used so I guess no ones wants them..LOL.. Now I keep getting calls on my warranty being up on my ram and if I want to renew it. NO THANKS

I don't they know better. They gave me mine cheap but we had a few arguments on pickup. No one calls me from that dealer and the one I got my 13 from never calls either and I sent them 2 friends there who bought Rams from them. They sent me my referral check and that's it.

I stopped by the dealership after receiving a letter about an offer of "above-market value" for my truck. After recently having the oil changed, I said letter in the mail. I popped in to see what this was all about. Basically comes down to the dealership wanting a vehicle they know the service history of instead of buying vehicles at auction. This specific letter indicated that I could have a hassle free estimate of the value whether I wanted to upgrade or sell out right. Needless to say, all they wanted to do was sell me another vehicle.

I get a call every couple months saying they need used vehicles, they just don't seem to get the idea that I love my truck and the only way they'll get it is a straight trade for a brand new one lol

The "need used vehicles" cold calls and mailings are just ploys to get you into the dealer to try to talk you into buying a new vehicle. It follows the M O of scammers you get emails and calls from, if you throw enough crap against the wall some of it is going to stick. Its a cheap marketing tool so it doesn't matter if only a extremely small percentage actually bites the hook. The profit from the small percentage outweighs the cost of the marketing.

Another ploy is when a dealer advertises they will pay you $5,000 over blue book for your trade. You can be sure that just means one way or another they structure the deal to get that $5,000 back. Sometimes its via keeping any rebates and/or ****** you on the sales price of the new vehicle. Like the old saying, "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is".
