Just removing the Bighorn badge on the tailgate made it look better.
Then replacing the Rams head emblem with the different billet aluminum badge made it easier to wash the Ram & it makes a statement too

The issue with emblems comes when you’re polishing with a machine.

They got so carried away with the badging on the doors and front finder I found it just too much. I’ve removed every badge I can. It looks so much cleaner that way. The only badge I’ve got left is on the front grill that’s gone as soon as I get a new grill.

I debadge most things for a simpler (cleaner) look and easier washing. My street bike and Car are both debadged (Only front and Rear bowties on my Cruze) My Limited has the billboard tailgate and chrome Limited rocker trim which will likely stay, however the fender and door badging has already come off. The dealer stickers and plate frames came off too. As others have said, they don't pay me for advertising. While I appreciate the service I got and a decent price on my truck, they'll get word of mouth advertising over plastering it all over my truck.

I was on the fence with debadging until I went to pick up my truck. The truck has the black emblem package on it, but somebody at the factory wasnt paying attention and one side of the truck was chrome emblems and the rest were black. I got the dealership to give me some money for the issue and took them off when I got it home. I agree it does look a lot cleaner and makes it much easier to clean. Emblems and badges inevitably get wax and things built up on them and just dont look good after a while.

I removed all reference to RAM and FCA as I don't want to advertise their ****** staff/corporation. I had/have alignment issues on my entire front end assembly (only cosmetic so far) that were way out of factory specifications and the arrogance of their regional managers had me take pleasure in removing the badges. They satisfied me by throwing in the mac daddy extended warranty but the south florida regional manager isn't qualified to deep fry Mickey D's french fries!

I guess I'm not normal. I won't even buy a used vehicle that has been damaged! OK, debadged or whatever you want to call it! If someone removed badges what else did they do?

I debadge because it is cleaner, especially this truck. Both front fenders, both doors, tailgate full of emblems. Allows dirt and crud to get behind emblems, dealers refuse to send me a check every month for advertising. And people don't know what options the vehicle has. Nick

I didn't know this was a thing till I joined this forum lol.
It was one of the first mods I did to my truck and it looks so much cleaner, I love it. I took off everything but the front and rear ram's head emblems.
My husband asked how will people know it's a 4x4? Well, *I * know it is!

On my Classic there is so much on the doors . It just looks cluttered. I removed the RAM , 1500. and the Classic badges. I did leave the Hemi badge and then color matched my Classic emblem and placed it over the 5.7 part of the emblem it really looks good this way. The first was my test fit the second is now what is on my truck. classic1.PNG classic2.PNG

I debage mine as well. The 4th gen rams have a lot going on. Mine had the Lonestar badge on the back. then its Ram 1500 and the hemi badge. The only ones that are on the ram is black hemi ones on the hood. My charger only has its black charger and black R/T badges on the back. I did swap out my old hemi emblem on my ram and put it in the grill in place of the dodge one. I painted it purple to match the calipers.

I was wondering the same about debadging. I just got my 1st RAM, 2017 Big Horn Crew 4x4. Only 14K miles, 3.92 rear, anti-slip, 32gal tank, tow pkg. Need it for cross country RV trips. It was partially debadged, "1500 RAM" off the doors. I guess the previous owner didn't like it. I'm not a chrome fan so won't add back.
