DEF GUAGE STUCK

Hi folks
I filled up my DEF tank on my Ram 3500 diesel from a pump in Ely, Nevada. First time. Pretty cool as I usually get the 2.5 gal box to add. DEF. Only problem, now the gauge appears to be stuck. Drove about 600 miles and needle hasn’t moved. Short of taking the truck in for service, any thoughts/ideas on how to get the gauge in the tank free? Thanks

Stuck at full? If so, it's possible you simply haven't used enough DEF yet. When filling via a pump it brings it up higher than the full especially compared to the boxes.

Thanks, my only concern, after seeing the gauge not moving after 600 miles I put in 2 gallons.

I believe that the gauge hardly moves when the tank is close to FULL.
At a given point, that needle in that gauge will start dropping as it should
IF it will make you feel better
