I'm hoping I'm not outta my lane here with you 4th Gens... but

I felt the same way today.

I did the 87oct tune and turned off the MDS.
Honestly, aside from the MDS thing, I didn't notice anything.


Till... I ran all the 87 out and put in 93!

Now... wow... I can DEFINITELY feel a difference.

How much of a difference can you tell with the HF tune?

I would not buy the DS if it wasn't for the HF tune... Noticeable difference and worth the$100-150.

It's a very noticeable difference. IMO, the Diablo tunes straight up suck.

Agree with ^^^. If it wasn't for HF tunes with the DS, I would have kept my Bullydog.

Ya theres alot of updates i got my truck back from dealer and had to retun it and all the new updates took like 30 mins but once you update it should be gtg and he for some reason can add 50 h/p to the 2011 and up cut cant do it to the 10's and lower lol sucks for you guys lol.

There was no need for custom tuning on the 09' 10' Rams LOL!
The Canned 93 Tune was Awesome compared to the ones released from Diablo for the DCX Rams. (poor guys)

The pre-encrypted PCM's on the 10's and 09's could upshift flawlessly at 6400 rpm at the user level with just a canned tune.

Got me into the 13.8's (13.04/101 with DA correction) with just an intake,catback and DR's (4x4 with 3.55 gears)

....I never went through a single transmissions doing it either,
which # are you one now, number 4 right?

So what's a better tuner for 2010's? Canned Bully or Hemifever? First I've hear of this difference.

I had my 10' (with a Diablo 93 canned tune) Strapped to a Dyno at the local CMR after installing shorty headers 2 years ago.
I was going to have him write me a custom tune, but after a couple pulls he said it wouldn't be worth it and there were no real gains to made over the canned 93 tune from what he was seeing on screen... unless I came back with my cats removed.

He made a couple minor spark/fuel tweaks right on my Trinity
and only charged me $125 for 4 pulls instead of doing a full tuning session.

Go to the "Fastest 4G" Quarter Mile time slip thread on any Ram site,
if you look at the mods listed for the fastest Rams on the list you will see it's completely Dominated by Diablo owners.

in fact, you'd be hard pressed to find any Bully Dog owners in the top 10

Ya mines been updating for 30 minutes and it's still on 1 of 5 so far we've been through every make and model know to man, gas. Now I guess it's loading all the diesel ones. This thing is a PITA!!!
