Dyno Schmyno!

I ran high 13's NA at the track with just 317HP/347TQ

I think Ethan (Grey Chevy) did 12.8's with about 330WHP

With those numbers well into the 400's
you should be throwing down low 12's or high 11's at a quarter mile track.

Track Slips or **** :signs8:

:D

lol im scared to go to track cause of my tranny problems

and hey not saying its right but i gots it in black and white lol even the guy that dynoed it was looking perplexed to be perfectly honest i dont think its correct but its what ever was free if i payed for it id want like 4 pulls even the vette guys were ******** cause there numbers were all over the place

i think i might take it to another shop after i get it all back together to see whats up theres a guy here in ga that just does mopars think its like 75 for 4 pulls so ill see whats up

yeah.. either thats some one elses pulls or their dyno is WAY off.. no offense but thats a lot of power for a 5.7 with your mods.. if you had a 392 I could see these numbers...

Dyno don't mean ****, go run it and post your slips. THE MPH will tell the real story.

blackout were just bustin on ya man, gotta be able to back stuff up if your going to throw up numbers. This is a car forum people come from all over knowing a lot about this stuff, its hard to BS on the internet (not saying thats what your doing) but you gotta take it for what its worth. your a car guy im a car guy and your cool about it and its fun bustin balls about this stuff.. other forums tho would of ripped you a new one HARD hahaha, im just playin. but honestly those are not your real numbers and if they are then prove it.

Lhemi, can you do a 0-60? pleeeeeeeeeeeease? I got a EB f150 neighbor all he does is post up 0-60, i need to know where were at with this haha

I sent my data to Sean and he stated that everything looked great from what he can see. I guess that means he doesn't have to tweak anything. But I'm still a little confused why the canned tune ran a faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile. But to Sean's point, he said the ET is where the difference comes in with the custom tune and that can't be measured by the tuner. I'm not sure what ET is though haha.

Ahh. Thanks. He gave an example of 2 people having the same 0-60 time but one is 2 car lengths ahead and the other wins the race. But if I do my times from motion start, there shouldn't be any ET, right?

I dont get why you guys are so caught up in ETs and trap speeds, its a truck. hows it feel on the butt dyno, thats all that maters at the end of the day. Unless you plan to heavily mod your truck for the track then its all about how it feels to you - Thats whats important. LOL you bought the wrong vehicle to care about numbers like this, however 0-60 is important if you tow. the anticipation is killing me, I just want to know how it SHIFTS!! lol

My truck will never see a track. But what I like to have is bragging rights when someone pulls up next to me at a light and wants to see if they can beat me. In the end, I want to see them in my rear view haha. So 0-60 and 1/4 mile will help me know what I can do in those situations.

This truck will also be lifted on 37s in the future. I'm more of an off-road truck guy than a street truck guy. But it's still nice to laugh at people as you leave them in the dust :)
