Ahh. Thanks. He gave an example of 2 people having the same 0-60 time but one is 2 car lengths ahead and the other wins the race. But if I do my times from motion start, there shouldn't be any ET, right?

My brain just exploded. Lol

I don't really get that ET stuff and I especially don't get the analogy.

That Dyno sheet looks way off. It shows the truck shifting at 6600 rpms in 3rd gear???? Even with a custom tune I cant really see that happening with stock valve springs. And 425 wheel hp with bolt-ons and a tune. Only if one of the bolt-ons is a super/turbo charger or a 125 shot of juice.

Vols if its only minor differences then go with his recommended tune, but if it feels faster and is safe then go with the old one. Let Sean know your just looking for light to light performance, not a dyno queen lol

I will definitely stick with his tune. The canned tune just felt like crap to me. Even though it ran faster. I also notice I was blowing white smoke with the canned tune too. I don't want that.

Did you ever get your answer about the steps for getting his tunes and send him the logs?

Haha you're cool man. Sean's instructions are pretty spot on. Don't trust the DiabloSport instructions though. If you're anything like me, you'll read through the Diablo instructions and then turn on the tuner and be thrown off. Their instructions are not up to date with the tuner updates. I too worried about about losing my original backup and started like 10 threads in a day haha. Just let us know when you get it and what your questions are.

What David said. When I first hooked it up and selected performance, I wasn't given the option to save a backup. According to Diablo, it should save the backup before you select a tune. But with the new updates, you select the tune and THEN it saves the backup.

I have back ups of my original backup and several custom tunes on my Trinity,
on a flash card, my laptop and a USB thumb drive lol

If you ever lose it , you can always recover an old email attachment
provided you don't delete your old emails on a regular basis

I'll make sure I keep copies. This will be the first time I have ever done this my self. I have always been pro tuned and never worried about keeping files and all this crap, so its all new to me. I feel like if I hit the wrong button my truck will never start again haha

How long you been building yours?
To me 0-60 isn't important, I'll take mine to the track just to know for sure what she will do. Most my races are some kid In daddy car or truck pulling up to me at 60 eye ******* my truck and honking the horn 3 times.... So 60-140 is more important to me but there's not a tree for that.

I've got the whole range pretty much covered LOL ,
over 500WHP FTMFW!!! :headbang:

BTW, irrelevant how long I've been building mine,
The supercharger added almost 200HP and install was only about 6 hours in my driveway with basic hand tools. ;)
