I remeber reading a post awhile back saying that billet tech it the one that makes them for diablo sport. you are just going to pay xtra for the top engraving...but yes it is a great product.

Correct. BT makes them and just puts the Diablo logo on top. Its the exact same thing, but a little more expensive.

ok so from what I gather I have to take that plastic "hemi" engine cover off of the engine to use this thing ( well to empty it ), am I correct ?

No...it unscrews from the bottom, so you don't have to remove anything to empty the can.

well it looks like the catch can mounts up under the plastic engine cover on the 2011 rams, correct me if I am wrong

It mounts to the front of the engine block, and there is plenty of room to reach in there and unscrew the bottom cap to pour it out. It will work with all intakes and with or without that engine cover on.

Is it required to keep the HEMI engine cover on? The BT catch can is a very easy install. Only thing I had to do was trim the hoses that came with it because they were a little long. Ordered mine from Moes, I would highly recommend.

I think the only purpose that cover serves is to deflect noise and make the engine seem a little more quiet.

By noise, I mean the annoying sounds like ticking and "knocking" and not the good sounds like the Hemi rumble.

Mist that turns into a liquid, over time, can catch alot.

true.... but we all get rid of our trucks some day.... I usually get rid of them before 100k miles so is it really worth 180 bucks ?

Seems like long-term, it is something that could hurt performance before it affects maintenance.

Catch cans are only $135 unless you start adding custom colors and fittings. I know it is a tough mod for some guys to justify, but you will appreciate it and understand its importance the first time you dump it out.
