DIC goes blank intermittently

2014 6.4 Hemi 4X4 Outdoorsman w/30K on the clock

This whole incident only spans about 20 minutes and 10 miles so there may be more to it.

Started the truck up after stopping for a short time (wife HAD to return some things at Old Navy today). Heading for home the DIC goes totally blank except for the P R N D 2 1 letters at the bottom. I fooled around with various steering wheel buttons to no avail. Once for about 20 seconds it came back on then went off. Then after about 5 minutes it came on and stayed on until I got home.

One curious thing was when the screen did restore the speedo was on kM/h which makes me think it was still reading my steering wheel input but just the display was out.

I know what does in the next few days will tell the story but I just thought I'd throw this out there to see if anyone else has had issues. All I know is with these modern, hi-tech trucks, I'm a BIG fan of the warranty

I believe there was a recall or TSB on dash light issues about a year ago . Maybe check a Google search to see if the symptoms match yours ?
I think it was mainly Grand Cherokee , but it was something Rams ...

I just did a 7" Cluster upgrade on my 14' Express and intermittently it blanks just fora split second. Annoying, but not sure what to do outside of ignore it.. Hope you get your issue taken care of
