Decided to make my own intake with my son because he was bored and is getting into working on cars now. I had some stuff lying around from an intake I was going to build for an Eclipse several years ago. I know this won't do anything but it was fun to screw around with my son.

Modified the stock air box bracket. Trimmed it to clear my new "box" and can still put the stock one back on.

Used cardboard to make a template and tried to get as tight of a fit as we could.

Transferred the cardboard template to some ¼" plastic

Used some aluminum angle and flat bar and been them up. Used stainless steel hardware to attach everything

Used 3½" to 4" 90° elbow to connect to throttle body. 19" aluminum 4" tube. 4" 90° to a 4" Spectre mounting plate (part #9148) on each side of my custom box. Spectre 9731 filter with 9731dk pre filter. Drilled a ½" hole in the reducer going into the throttle bodybod put in the air charge sensor.
