My business is looking for a new vehicle, but this year it's probably a Chevrolet suburban or a gmc Yukon xl. Need the internal space for equipment that gets hauled around.

Sorry no rumble bee.

I hear the 2027's GM's are coming with newly designed V8's to make their vehicles more reliable

No, if I want a hot rod I’ll get a Vette.

A million HP doesn't do a thing when stuck in traffic. I once owned a couple of Corvettes and they can be exhilarating, but in small doses. The rest of the time you are sitting in traffic with the rest of the plants waiting for the vegetable in front to start moving.

i think it’s pretty cool but not for me. we have lots of open highways in alberta but they all have speed limits. so really it’s going to get you where you’re going only a few seconds faster. i’m sure it would make the drive from edmonton to ft mac alot more fun if you have a good radar detection. i like it but it’s not what i would buy

Vehicles like this aren't about top speed or sustained cruising speed, they are about the acceleration and the total experience. Even with 80mph speed limits I seldom drive more than 88mph (because Back to the Future and it's fun to see on the HUD) for long stretches.

Corvettes are fun but visibility sucks. I'd rather have this and be able to see over the hood of a Civic next to me to see if I can turn right on red. I'm not replacing my Camaro just yet, but I can see the day when my knees will not appreciate the entry/exit any longer and something like this would be a reasonable replacement. Better entry/exit height, better visibility, still stupid fun in the right stupid ways. I'll just miss the manual.

lift kit and big tires winch lights then i want one.
Buy the TRX then :Big Laugh: Who in hell would want to make the drive to Fort Mac in one, when you could go east and hit Saskatchewan where the roads are wide open and not many other vehicles on the road including mounties:Big Laugh:.
I like roads like this alot better then the road going to Fort Mac;),but then again i grew up in Saskatchewan where running wide open was done a fair bit back in my younger days, and where there were lots of backroads to get off the highway to hide on if you needed to get outta site for a bit:Big Laugh:

Never buy a first year new model. Sorry, looking at a suburban with the 5.3.

I know it's probably on the pickup truck frame but maybe in a few years.

I get a new vehicle every 2 years for the business, it's a section 179 tax write off.

My wife is one of the few native Calgarians, and she's a diehard Stamps and Flames fan,so it's never good in my house when the Riders and Stamps are playing, and even worse when the Riders win, good thing today was Fathers Day,otherwise i'd of been scrounging in the fridge for something to eat today :Big Laugh: :Big Laugh::Big Laugh:

Why are some saying they look like a Toyota? Take a look GM’s trucks they’re the copy cats at most cues in them. I would like to have one these, but for the price even with employee pricing, a bit out of my budget is willing to pay.

This is one of those cases where the old saying "a FOOL and his money are soon parted". Sure I want one who doesn't? BUT why should I buy if it I can build better and way cheaper. If I desire to do something to my truck I will. Otherwise I just enjoy it.

These will retain some value when you go to sell or trade it off, your modded truck, although maybe cheaper to build, becomes something that's virtually impossible to sell or trade off.
Some guys spend a pile of money on a vehicle, then wonder why they can't hardly give it away, while this truck will retain it's value.
There's 2 sides to your theory that you have to factor into the equation, the first one being,do you plan on dieing with the truck,or in 5 years do you plan on getting a new truck to replace the one you spent a pile of money on,and isn't worth squat now

For *ME*, the answer is no. I have better things to do with my money than spend it on the extra gas, insurance and tires.
I do enjoy watching other people do that, though. :)

Not for me. Beautiful truck. Great power. Well, who wouldn’t want that? Probably those that need a little Offroad/ winter driving capability, and heavier RV towing features.

Not to mention the price is a bit more than I’d like to pay.
