Hello all.
Question, does anyone have a solution to stop the fog/driving lights from bouncing around on bumpy roads. I'm thinking of putting a bracket from the light frame to the rail frame of the truck.
Any thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I remember reading a while back where someone fixed the bouncing by using some cable ties. Maybe do a search on that. The other way would be to replace them with some quality lights which would do a way better job. Something like Diode Dynamics SS3's, or Morimoto lights.

I actually have factory OEM lights in there now. The lights themselves are very secure, it is the lower part of the bumper that seems to shake, since there is nothing else holding it down. That is why i'm thinking of actually creating a bracket, and securing it to the frame, So that it gives the lower area of the bumper and the light bracket so much needed support.

Trade it for a 3rd gen, mine are mounted in a solid bracket and don't budge.

Tray Burge, You think they would keep to the practices that work! I do have to say that this is the only issue I am having, so I guess I am lucky!

There's a problem with the lower part of your bumper, something is loose or broken.
If there was a problem with the lower part of the Gen4 bumpers moving around there would be a lot more posts on the subject.

I've been around here a while, and not say'n they haven't, but this is the first I've heard anyone complain about it too?
And to the OP, 10 years with mine and zero issues at all, except for the dreaded shiddy dash crack.
