doing the cam and lifter swap a few questions?

first having trouble getting fan to break loose . i have changed many a water pump and this one is tight i might have to break down and buy the tool to hold pulley . and second i cant find much info on how to remove intake manifold. any help would be appreciated

Yes sir there is a kit that works with the air hammer to break loose that stubborn fan. Works every time, even better with the snap on air hammer

intake manifold is a few bolts going to the head the quick connect for the fuel rail and few electrical connectors

Some auto stores rent out tools. Actually free, you pay a deposit & then you get it back when you bring the tool back. Hope they have what you need.

Idk what year yours is or if it changes but the tread on my 2011 was reverse spin it clockwise to get it off. ALSO if you give the fk up cause its still stuck like mine was it is 100% possible to take the pump and fan off together.

just figured that out today my luck i had a pipe on it .then i said lets try the other way and i got it .i am down to heads got pushrods out now to take exhaust manifolds off any tricks?

Grease up your knuckles. Lol.

Exhaust manifolds are easy to get too from the fenders. If you have 4wd, maybe a little worse. I have 2wd, and just had to remove the dipstick tube to get the drivers manifold off

Got down to lifter the bad one is stuck any tips I guess I could take cam out and push it down that way
