Door handles

Okay, so I saw another Ram the other day in black with color match door handles and mirrors. I have plastic crap and would prefer the color match. Are these available in brilliant black or just jet black? Are the door handle easy to change? Do I have to replace the whole mirror or just the covers?

The door handles are available in all the colors. Contact Benny Allmoparparts.com in the vendor section of the forum and give him your vehicle info and paint code and he will get you set up. They aren't to bad to change once you figure out how to do it. You need to pop the window out of the regulator and tape it up and then remove the inner door panel to get to the handle. It's simple once you figure it out. There may be some videos on YouTube showing how to do it. As far as the mirrors go the factory painted mirrors are expensive. You can by mirror covers that look factory and the purchase the Mopar touch up paint to match your truck and paint them to match. I've done a few that way and they have came out pretty nice and match perfectly. This is a set I recently did for a friend.

There's also the covers that you can tape over your current handle. There's mixed reviews, but I'm sure if it had a good cleaning with por, and a 3m adhesion promoter, they wouldn't come off

Yes, the brilliant black (pxr paintcode) are available. As stated above contact Benny on here, he'll hook you up. There is a great write up with videos in the DIY section on these forums. Takes aprox. 45 min to an hour per door with basic hand tools.
