I may be an idiot. I don't know, but I am feeling like one today. Let me get your thoughts and opinions. When doing my Bilstein install on the front today, I noticed my setup doesn't seem to look like anyone else's, on multiple forums, a youtube video and google images, I seem to have more ontop of my strut.
Now, I removed my HBS spacer, see the photos, you can spot it. But these other two pieces? WTF are they. Was there a spacer already on my truck and like a big noob moron I installed another???
I didn't think the truck was leveled to start or I wouldn't of ordered a HBS 2.5 spacer. Is this a 4x4 part?
Either way, I'm leaving it off for now and set the Bilsteins to 2.8
Measured together the two pieces are 1.25 inches. With the upper strut piece sandwiched between them they become 2 inches.
