Driver side stub shaft seal question

I have to replace the driver side stub shaft and oil seal on my 2010 ram 5.7 1500. My qustion is this, are there any special tools need to get the oil seal out? I know how to remove the stub shat itself, just not sure about the seal. Also, if the bearing behind the seal is bad, i assume i would need a bearing puller tool or something to remove that, and a tool to set the new bearing?

Use whatever you have to pry the seal out. I usually just use a punch and hammer on the outside of the seal, or use a pry bar to pop it out.

If the shaft bearing is no good you would need the special puller to remove it. As long as it’s not noisy it should be fine though.
