Drop spindles

Maybe you guys can offer some insight. It looks like the part number is the same for 2wd drop spindles on the 2009 -2018 and on the 2004-2008. Can anyone confirm that they use the same spindle?

There are some McGaughys drop spindles that fit the 2002-2018 Ram 1500 2WD trucks. I have used the same pair of drop spindles on a 2004 Ram 1500 and again in a 2013 RAM 1500 with no issues.

Are the McGaughys spindles the only one that are interchangeable or would it be any Dodge/Ram 1500 spindle that would be interchangeable? I have a line on a set for a really great price but don't want to waste money if they won't work.

There are a couple of manufacturer's spindles that are compatible with multiple year models. What brand are the ones that you are looking at?

I believe ATP is what's machined into them.

I may just bite the bullet and give them a try. Worst thing that can happen is I'm out $230.
