DTC code cylinder deactivation system bank 1Wh

I just bought a used 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 and my engine light came on so I checked the code and it says it is
Cylinder deactivation
System bank 1
Can anyone tell me what that means

There’s an issue with the MDS system on bank 1(driver side). Most likely cause is a failed MDS solenoid.
