Egr delete

so obviously I know it would be good to do an egr delete on my hemi but my question is would I need for it to be tuned out I’m in fl so no inspections and I don’t mind a cel.

Most folks turn them off with a programmer. I don't know that there is any downside to not turning them off except for the light on the dash.

I ran mine for 8 years with the CEL on and no problems until now. I just replaced as have other issues going on. I would recommend frequently checking codes though if ya can’t get it deprogrammed.

If you get the truck custom tuned just have them turn it off. I ran my truck on a superchips for yrs with a small cam an had egr deleted. Like you I live in Fl so didn’t care about the light. Just recently got it tuned an it’s weird not having the light on after all these years lol
