EGT question

New to the site. I have a 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins. Got a message on the EVIC that said "exhaust system service required - see dealer." Truck is stock, 76k miles and I am running a Bully Dog GTX as a monitor only. When I scrolled through the EGT temps, EGT-2 is reading abnormally. At operating temps, this sensor shows either 35* or 5928*, both of which are obviously bogus.

I am assuming I have a bad EGT sensor. My question - where in the exhaust path is EGT-2 located?​

If I'm not mistaken, the CTD EGTB1S1, EGT1B2 and EGT1B3 are the same read out as the EcoDiesel when using the Torque App. Those three readings are Pre-Turbo, Post-Turbo and DPF temps, but I'm not sure how that would exactly cross to the BullyDog monitor, but it will most likely be a combination of those sensors. If I had to guess BullyDog reads the Pre-Turbo and either the Post or DPF temps. There is also pressure and particulate sensors in the DOC/DPF assembly.

Some additional information
EGT-1 is DOC Inlet temp
EGT - 2 is DOC Outlet temp
EGT-3 is DPF Outlet temp
