So, I talked to nick@gotexhaust , he recommended I go with Eibach adjustable in the front and Eibach in the back on my 2020 Rebel. He claimed the 5100 Bilstiens are hard to find and the Eibachs give a smoother ride! And also readily available! Not that I don't trust his expert opinion, I just thought I'd ask to see if anyone has tried the Eibachs ? This forum seems to lean towards Bilstien pretty heavily, so I just thought I'd ask !

Consider eibach and Bilstein to be an apples to apples comparison. Eibach does offer front coil springs where billsteins do not. That is pretty much the only difference between the 2. The prices are even the same.

I have bilstein 5100 with eibach springs on my 17 1500. The eibach springs made a noticeable difference in ride over the stock springs. I have no comparison to eibach shocks/struts though. In my opinion the eibach stuff is great.

I got the full Eibach Pro kit, front and rear springs and front and rear shocks from Nick. I am really pleased at how it rides, I would call it "plush".
I went in the lowest position in the front, because I still wanted some rake. I believe that it was a little over 2" lift in the front and 1" lift in the rear.

I just did the front with the same Eibachs. On the rear I have Timber Grove air bags to help with the sag when towing. Would you recommend the Eibachs springs over the air bags ?

Bumping the thread...

Eibach's site lists the part number for this Pro Truck kit as part #E80-27-011-02-22. It specifies its for a 5.7L Hemi.

I have a 22 EcoDiesel, and Eibach's site does not have an option for the EcoDiesel.

Would the kit for the Hemi also work on the EcoDiesel, or am I SOL?

Thanks!

It will work but you won’t get advertised lift. It’ll be around 1” lower. It’ll also ride softer since the valving is aimed for the weight of the hemi

That is a really interesting point; I didn't take weight of the two powertrain's into account. Thank you!

The weight of the engine is the reason for the different part numbers. So you can use the springs for the hemi but as mentioned you will not get as much lift due to the EcoD being a bit heavier.

Nice setup right there!

The HEMI and ED are close to the same weight so the weight difference is negligible (less than 20 lbs maybe?)

I did some Google'ing and saw that too. Thanks!
Don’t forget about all the supporting parts for the eco-diesel. It’s enough weight that different lifts spec different lift heights for the ecodiesel vs the hemi. Generally 3/4-1” different lift. 4th gen ram specs crew cab 4x4 hemi at 5500lbs. Same truck but ecodiesel is specd at 5600lbs. So 100lbs different just from the engine. The 5th gen trucks are specd within 10lbs between hemi or diesel

Exactly what @crazykid1994 said. You cant only factor in the engine itself. You need to figure, intercooler, hot and cold side pipes, turbo, EGR, etc......There is much more on that motor than on a hemi
