You can't leave them at 2.8 with these springs. The springs only work on the lowest or second to lowest.

Does it make up for the lost height from lowering the bils down? curious if it would add more than 2.8 inches of added lift

The spring is longer than stock. You get 2.75 on the lowest perch and 3.5 on the second.

From what I’ve surmised, besides the lift, the springs have a “better” rate so you’ll get a “plushier” ride more like stock (pre-Bilstein).

I believe at the beginning of the topic someone posted the installation PDFs, but it shows on there that the coil itself is a 2.75” lift.. so, when pairing with Bilsteins you have to set them to stock 0 or the second ring which is 0.75”.

I’m possibly on the brink of dropping Bils to the second notch and adding the Eibach springs. I think I have a bad lower control arm bushing, so I’m considering swapping both and adding the springs in the process.

Trying to rotate my tires and maxed my Jack out before my tires are safely off the ground. Can't get them moved around but I can pull some useful suspension numbers. I have a level spacer, which was installed by the previous owner, but I assume it's the 1.75" thick one from what I can see with my head and tape stuck in there.

Full droop is 27 1/4" hub to fender +/-
Ride height is 24 1/4" hub to fender so even with about 1.5 to 2" of extra length in the overall length in the strut, it's still cycling 3" of droop. With a better uca and a longer coilovers I can see how these things can pull gen 1 raptor numbers pretty easily. Wish I could pull the spacer out and see the numbers to compare but it's too damn cold, my eibach kit is MIA and I need a bigger Jack. Simone with oem struts wanna compare notes?

I got some of mine on tire rack. The shocks when I bought were $100.44 and the springs we're $144. I did get a great deal on one shock on Amazon for $55. I also got a rear shock on Amazon for $18! Looks like the prices have gone up on tire rack now for some reason.

Has anyone confirmed the eibach springs will work on the 5100 bilsteins? If so, i will buy the front eibach springs, and try the 3rd notch and see what CV angles look like.

Measured my truck with RC 6" lift and bils set at 2.8". Rear is 28" center of wheel to bottom of fender. Front is 27.5". Im convinced my factory coils are shot. So if i buy the eibach +2.75" coils and install them" what would i set the bils at to gain another 2"?

I know cv angles are the issue, thats what im trying to figure out so i can start taking measurements and order true 8" lift Icon coils and fab up knuckles, crossmember, rear control arm drop brackets and transfer case with another 2" of drop than my 6"RC cufrently has.

Ordered my springs from Nick@Gotexhaust, and they should be here the 18TH! Only downside is that I'm leaving to go out of town the next night, so no time to install them. Looks like I'll be getting it done after Christmas. CAN'T WAIT!

I think we’re all curious about these springs in combination with the Bils set on the 3rd or 4th ring and seeing where the CV angles are. As soon as someone does this I hope they report so we can all know if we can proceed with or without extra lift (beyond Eibach recommended) with this setup, as well as it will lay a path for different spring/shock combos that won’t detrimentally affect CV angles but overall increase lift.

Eibach only says to use the third ring for trucks with a heavy aftermarket bumper, winch, etc. Even then they say that it can cause a degradation in ride quality. The fourth and fifth rings are not to be used with the longer springs. I dont even think you could compress them enough to work. They are a much thicker coil than stock.

Im sitting a half inch low in the front now, so in order for me to add 2" in the front it looks like i will have to use the second slot on my 5100 BILSTEINS.

Yeah im not going to be even driving on it. Im just putting them on so i can check CV angles and determine how muc drop i will have to add to all of my drop brackets. I will then have 8" icon coilovers made.

Has anyone done the full kit at 3.5 yet? Interested in the CV and uca angles. The more I think about it the more I'm thinking the full kit set to 3.5 and adding a 1.5 spacer in the back to keep some rake but it will depend on the angles.

I think Hodge-xj was planning on doing this. Not sure if he got it installed yet.
