Embarrassed but what are these buttons?

I'm embarrassed to ask because I've had this truck for well over a week now and i just found the two buttons on the back side of the steering wheel. one on each side of my 02 SLT. What are they?

should be to control your radio.... thats what they are on mine

The ones with the Infinity package came with radio volume controls on the back side of the wheel. As said above. ^

those buttons are for your stereo. My dads 04 2500 has them too. The left one controls "seek" on the FM/AM and will skip to the next track on a CD. If you press the middle of that button, it will change the source from FM to AM to CD, etc. The right side button controls the volume and im not sure what that one does if you press the middle of it lol but theyre for your stereo. As long as you have the stock stereo in your truck, they should work, but with an aftermarket head unit, sometimes the buttons wont work with the aftermarket headunit.
