Enable Audible Alarm in Torque Pro?

I have the Torque Pro app on a TCL android phone. In the settings, I have an alarm set but it never goes off. Mine is tied to the "DEF Regen" setting I created, but when the dial goes form "0" to "1" (regen triggered), the dial flashes but the phone does not emit an audible alarm.

How have you gotten an audible alarm to trigger on a setting?

I have verified the speaker on the phone works.
