Remove the oil filler cap and grab the edge and lift. You'll probably need to remove the air inlet pipe to the throttle body to get it all the way clear. It has two pegs in the very back that fit into rubber grommets on the firewall and two rubber grommets on the underside of the cover toward the front slip over posts with balltips about 2/3s of the way up the side of the intake manifold--see link to picture below.This maybe the stupidest question yet... I've been inspired after seeing all these cool covers and wish to paint mine, but how do I remove the cover? Does it just snap on? I sure don't want to go pulling and tugging and end up breaking something.
Don't forget to replace the oil filler cap.
