Engine surging on cruise

2010 Ram 1500 Sport Quad.

Bought the truck about 2 weeks ago. Started noticing this a few days ago. While cruising with or without the cruise control in the 60-90km range so 35-50 mph range i notice the engine surging slightly.

Can even see it on the tach. jumping about 100 rpm, then back down.
(Appears to be when in eco mode)

Truck has 39,000k on it.


Just wondering if this is normal or if i should be taking it in next week. Have about 1 1/2 months waranty on the bumper to bumper left...and a couple years left on the power train...

I would take it in and let the dealer look at it.

Any update on this issue? I have a 2012 dodge ram 4.7. at cruising speeds 30-50mph and very low rpm 1000-1300, and very minimal throttle, it surges. have 19k on the truck.
