Exhaust question

I don't want to get exhaust because I'm just really tired if the noise from previous vehicles. My question is this, on the 4.7 does it make a big difference or difference at all? Reason I ask is because my dad just did exhaust on his f150 and it actually made it better and got rid of the little lag it had.

Will it do that to the 4.7 only with just doing exhaust?

Not really noticable.
Swap your stock single in single out 3" muffler for something better,is your best bet.
The stock exhaust pipe is lots big enough for a 4.7,but the muffler leaves a bit to be desired.
