In the market for an exhaust system. Have a 4th gen 5.7 with no other mods done. Lift, rims and tires are being done on Friday. Any advice is a big help.

You have 1000 options here from a simple weld on muffler, bolt on muffler, full catback system with new tailpipes and larger exhaust tips, or as far as going with full longtube headers and high flow cats.
From a bang for buck perspective, I prefer the bolt on Mufflex bolt on muffler kits with a set of clamp on 5" exhaust tips. This gives yo the sound and look of a full catback system at about half the price.
Yall are not far from me. Do you carry the system and black tips? debating between 14" and 18"
Our customers love the Carven muffler kits with the 5" tips as an option. They have a progressive and a competitor (louder) kit. Great quality and sound while being inexpensive compared to a cat back

I have been running the 14" Mufflex kit for the past few months on my 2015. I didnt have any issues with cabin drone until I installed my 37's. With the 37's, my truck was constantly going in and out of 7th and 8th gear on the highway which was getting annoying. If you have a 35" or shorter tire, then I dont think this will be an issue for you. The 14" sounds really nice at idle and at WOT.
