I have a Mufflex copy, made by Hottexhaust. It is a bolt in replacement muffler using an 18" Magnaflow.

I chose the 18", because after listening to many youtube vids on Ram exhaust, the ones with the Magnaflow 18 sounded best to me.

It gives a nice deep idle note, and really isn't that loud until you stomp on it.

I recommend searching youtube and listening to as many as you can find (Borla, Corsa, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc.)

I've got the s/i s/o exhaust system.
I purchased the Magnaflow 14 and I removed the resonator.
Love the sound.
Night and day compared to stock.

Magnaflow 14

How does your Magnaflow 14 sound in the cab, neighbor get woken up? Looking at the same and not looking to tick off the neighbors. We will be putting on a CAI and exhaust, want a deep throaty growl! Did you install or bring it to a shop?

That's the exact one I got on my truck right now. Start up you can tell there is a different muffler. Idle is still pretty much the same as stock, and when you romp on it, it has a good deep growl to it. Cruising sounds pretty good as well. But I'm about to put the ARH Long tube headers and turndowns on it when I get home.

Only problem I had with it, the rear bumper had the cutouts for the tips so I didn't want to do turn downs and leave the cutouts by them self. just changing the stock muffler out and leaving the stock pipes + resonators all the way out the back of the truck wasn't as loud as I was wanting. So I'm getting an aftermarket steel bumper without the cutouts and running them turn downs. I'm kinda a young pup and love ******' off the neighbors when I'm leaving the house :Moon:

Hottexhaust had a coupon code out for 60 off 260 or so that had the magnaflow muffler with SS pipes for a direct bolt up (just buying the muffler itself seems to be a pain from what I read). I had it in my cart, then the coupon expired. I'm waiting for it to come out again so I can get it.
