Body lift-
Cheaper way to increase ground clearance and fit bigger tires. The only downside is it's only lifting the body of the truck so it's not beefing up the suspension any.

Sup lift-
Lifting the vehicle by replacing and strengthening suspension parts. Will make you more "off road" ready but be prepared to spend much more than a body lift.

There are probably a ton of threads from people in the same boat just do a search but I wanted to put it in a nutshell for ya!

The next questions are, what are your plans with the lift? Is it just for looks? Do you off road? What size tires do you want to run?

Neither body or suspension actually gives more ground clearance, tires do. They give more body clearance to fit larger tires.

Body lifts don't give you anything more then clearance while a suspension lifts gives you more suspension travel as well as more room for larger tires

My plans are purly looks Im thinking on bigger tires on the rear and stock tires on the front. Its a 2wd so im thinking there wont be any issue runing 2 diffrent size tires.

Go all 4 same size tires
A lot of tire shops won't mount 2 different tire sizes on your rig .

I'm not sure I understand what direction your really planning on going

You can fit up to a 37" tire on the back of your truck bone stock but it will look really silly with stock tires up front

You shouldn't have a problem with shops not wanting to mount different sizes front to bak since your 2wd but you won't be able to rotate your tires if you choose to go that route

Are you just looking for a ton of rake?

Discount tire won't do it they say its a saftey hazard . How idk . I just went to a shop down the road they did it for me but now I run 305-75-r16 on my 2wd with no rub. But I also have no front fender liners
