FAC remote add on cd player

Anyone install the "add on" remote cd player to their 2017 rams? Does it come with the wiring to connect to the radio?
Or do you have to buy a wiring harness?
I have a 2107 1500 Crew Cab SLT.. apparently having the need for a CD player
Puts me on the scrap heap of Audio Technology. Did I mention I own a working 8 track player? Lol
Maybe I should just install the 8 track under dash model I have still in the Box.

I say skip the CD player and add 8track.


I'm and old fart too. I about freaked out when I realized I had no CD player.
3 usb sticks stopped working. 2 iPods stopped working. So far a new USB stick and my Zune are still working.

Biggest issue is consistency. My car has a HDD and CD player but no USB capability

You could do a portable and plug output into Aux input, LOL, kinda like years ago, U had a portable CD player that had a cassette attached on a cord that U put in the cassette player, showing my age??? LMAO

I still have some those adaptors. I modified one to use Bluetooth for the wife's cr-v.

^^^^^^ Not got any 8 tracks left, they were actually stolen out of my car years ago. Now, I do have a Bunch of Cassettes......

My last Dodge ( caravan ) had a CD/ Cassette player. As a teenager in the mid to late 80's I was in my glory..now to not have at least the option of a CD player blows. Its the only thing I Don't like about My Truck. One of the guys I work with bought a 2019 Ram 1500.
With a single CD player. Apparently enough people must have complained.
