For those of you who have done this install, was there an existing plug clipped to the blank panel that you removed? I have a 2011 Outdoorsman and found this attached to the blank RAM panel.

Any clues? I hope it is a power source to run power to the switches. Looks like the same plug needed.

One thought...since this is an Outdoorsman but didn't come with the 115V plug (long story) could this be the pre-wiring to the on-off button?

I believe it's the wiring for the heated/cooled seats on the upper trim levels...

If so, do you know if the power from that plug be used to power the aux switch panel?

You'd need to put a multimeter to the wires and find out what's there. I never tested them in the old truck.

Another forum had a link to the wiring diagrams for these trucks. They say the plug is for the lower bank but I am not sure what the optional bank is for. Anyway, I could probably tap the power (fused) and ground from that plug but the other wire goes to LIN BUS. I am not an electrical engineer so not really sure what that means other than it goes to the EVIC somehow. I'll Leave that wire alone. They number on the pins different than other posts, but locations are correct for what wire runs to each port in the plug.

My 2017 Sport had that, I thought it was the trailer brake wiring since it's right behind where that would plug in on the panel
