So I cant seem to find a thread about this, my 2013 ram boxes are so faded and it looks horible. I've never armor all'd them or anything. Last year I started trying different plastic conditioners and restorers but they on he for about a month. You can't just replace the plastic top either you have to buy all new lids (~$300 ea). Has anyone gotten the spray in bed liner and gotten them sprayed as well? Or any other ideas.

Would this work? Aren't the ram boxes painted the same color of the truck?

What do you mean the inside of the ram box? Or the outside?

Pictures?

I asked a line-x installer, they won't do plastics. They will only do painted surfaces (metal or plastic).

303 Aerospace protectant works well on the lids. My father in law's were gray looking and it restored them nicely. It works very well on vinyl and plastic.

Im guessing that the rambox is the side compartment and the "plastic" is the bed rail covers?

Is this the thing I said no to because it leaves you with a 3' wide bed?

If it's just the plastic covers, they can be scuffed up really good with some 180 grit, prime it if you want, and sprayed with some paint/bedliner/undercoating/magic marker.

SC. Florence area

Alright.. NC here.

Anyways, if you decide to do it on your own..it's not too bad for a beginner... The worse that could happen is you get some overspray on an area you didn't cover properly.. It's water base and can be wiped off with a rag before it dries.
