I was wondering if there was an acceptable method of adding an inline check valve to my truck. It is a 1500 big horn. Fuel pump is about 2 years old, if I turn the key a couple times before I start it the thing fires right up so I'm just assuming it's the check valve but open to any ideas.

you need to check the fuel pressure to see if you have enough built up and to rule out problems with the pump. The fuel system should build enough pressure just by letting the fuel pump run a few seconds before cranking.
You could have other problems causing the no start or delayed start that could be electrical. How old is the battery in the truck?
