I had these installed about a thousand miles ago, have used meguiars tire foam a few times to dress them after washing the truck. Does anyone notice that they arent black? I know it sounds crazy but a my tires have brown hues when the sun hits them. Next time i wash and dress ill take pics. But a couple arent black. Bad rubber? Anyone else seeing this? Other than that they are awesome, nice and aggressive looking. But something ain't right

I have had the Falkens for about 15k miles and they look like any other tire I’ve had before color wise.

I put mine on about a month ago, but have not dressed them at all...thanks to the rain. They are black, with no brown or hints of brown.

Try using a mild degreaser before using tire dressing. Tires stain and normal soap won't pull the pigments out of the rubber. I get it alot depending on what kind of dirt I run through. It's normal.

I never noticed discoloration on mine, but I don’t use tire shine. I spray on furniture polish then brush it in. Looks clean, no sling, repels water, and lasts longer. I even wipe my rims with it.

Thanks this tire foam didn't leave the factory Goodyear SRAs brown. Why i was confused, previous vehicles have all had black magic tire spray. I swear a couple are blacker. Ill try get some pics, then try a degreaser

I will say some tires do seem to stain or discolor more than others. I'm sure it has to do with the chemical make up of the tire. I've had a set turn a weird blueish color in a certain clay. Simple green or some other mild, rubber compatible degreaser always removed it and helps clean the wheels. Just don't spray it directly on brake components in case it leaves a residue. I just used a tire brush and sprayed that than scrubbed. Helps to not waste the cleaner as well

I like how that looks. When you say 'furniture polish', are you talking about a spray on one like Pledge?
