Are there any aftermarket fender flares that use the double sided 3m tape for adhesion versus just a rubber runner that eats through paint in a couple years? I heard of the protective tape that can be layed down, but seems it wouldn't be hard to just make a fender flare that adheres like the factory flares and solves the issue. Thanks

My OEM flares have 3M two sided tape in addition to the screws. Lots of people put a 3M clear bra material around the wheel well opening before installing the flare so it won't rub on the paint.

Yes, Im looking for wider fender flares with 3m tape, same at OEM but wider, and not needing to put the 3M protective material on..

Weld them on and paint match, look into it. Even if you have tape that doesn't rub, that area collects dust and grime, no way around it.
