Hey all, still working on my 2014 Express and had some questions that I am sure yall can answer quicker than I can google it lol. First one is the wheels. I have the Blacked out edition and found some 14mm x 1.5 Black lugnuts I am going to see if they work, what is the recommended torque on 2014 Factory 20' wheel's lugnuts? Next question is can someone let me know what the speaker layout is. I have the basic sound system so I am thinking 2 x 6x9 in the rear doors and then 2 speakers in the front doors as well as dash speakers it looks like. Also if anyone can reccomend speakers that would be a good replacement that would just drop in and plug and play. Thanks again for y'alls help and once I get the rest of my stickers and whatnot on I will get some pics of my "BatRam" posted up. Oh last one for now anybody have any tips to make installing bed stripe vinyl decals? I tried a couple weeks ago and got one side looking good but messed up the passenger side and had to remove it all and wait for a replacement order lol. Thanks again

Thanks everyone so far. I keep asking questions because I have modded in the past on a 92 Chevy S-10 but that was all trial and error. With a brand new Ram I like to make sure I know how to do it right before I start. Love this forum and I am on it everyday now.

I'm running Alpine Type S 6x9s in the doors and Polk 3.5s in the dash. They sound great.

For the most part, yes. Some speakers require some cutting behind the door panel to clear the magnets. It's not a big deal and isn't structural, but just something to keep in mind. I know that the infinity reference is one that requires modification. Alpine Type S do not...

The 3.5s aren't an issue.

Also, you can buy the speaker wire adapters so you do that have to cut and splice wires. I took the easy way out and used T-Taps...

Sounds like the other questions were answered so i'll just throw out a tip for the vinyl decals. First wash the area really well, then spray soapy water quite liberally where you will be putting the decal (i recommend you park in the shade) After that you can spray the vinyl itself aswell. When you place it on the panal the soapy water will allow you to slide it around a bit until you get it perfectly in place. When you're all set, take a small plastic sqeegie and push all the water out. Start from the center and work out to the edes (obvious but ya never know) Let it dry for a little bit and peal the backing off. Should be all set.

That was longer than expected...ignore my spelling, I didn't join the army for my english grades :)

My only add on to that ^^^ is if you get any bubbles use a very fine needle and hair dryer as you squiggy the water out.
Pop the bubble on the bottom side and squiggy in a down ward direction. Hope you don't get any. But if you do it's nice to know how to fix them....
