Looks good, looks clean, how long did it take you?


Took me about an hour. Just make sure you heat gun the crap out of it makes your life much better.

I did mine as well. The warmer it is out the easier the vinyl on the window pillar comes off. Less glue left behind too. One big lesson i learned from the first side i did was DO NOT use your fingernails to scrape at the glue left behind. I was left with small scratches that i had to sand down, then compound and polish. The second side i did not do this so i was not left with little scratches. I used goo gone and some isopropyl alcohol to get rid of the adhesive.

I definitely prefer the cleaner look. My debadging/pillar removal went pretty smooth. I had a very faint shadow left on the passenger door where the Ram 1500 had been. Definitely better to do it when the paint is newer.

I used my finger nail no scratches for me. I did use some cutting polish when I was done though. I let my truck sit in the sun and used a heat gun worked good.

I prefer the clean look also I am very happy doing it. I can see that happening on a dark color. The silver color you cant see anything thank God.
