11.5 before higway. Not the best but it had a loaded bed, and the mpgs were only rising, before i reached my destination.

The Hemi does well if you keep it under 80mph, mine does anyway!

Good lord fellas Right foot control
My Evic # 19-20 mpg year round all type driving .
I have seen 23 on 1600 mile trips n the interstate @75mph .

Hand calculated is always -.8 to -1.1 pretty consistent.

I do drive like a blue haired grandma though .

I've been very surprised on my mpg , nearly everytime I fill up it says the range is 500+ miles , I find this to be very accurate .

My last truck a 97 extended cab 4x4 11 - 13 mpg so I'm extremely happy to be driving a 4 door 4X4 & getting such great mpgs !

My truck . 2014 QC 4X4 5.7L 6 Speed 3.55 differentials.

I don't drive like a grandma, but I let it roll or coast as long as possible. 22mph on the screen, ~21mpg with math. But I drive 80% highway and 70mph.

I just took a 400 mile round trip yesterday...first road trip in my 2016 1500 Laramie CC 5.7 and had four adults with me being 320 lbs. Averaged 75 mph on highway plus some stop and go in St. Louis and some construction and minor stoppages. Got 18.1 mpg and truck still has less than 1000 miles on it so not even broke in yet.

I always get a chuckle when I see the threads comparing Hemi MPG.. 20-22mpg in the city 26-28mpg Highway @70 w/CC, 6'4" bed, 3.92, 4X4 on winter blend (should get another 5-10% on summer blend)

Yes I have the 8 speed trans.. along with the 3.0L EcoDiesel
The Hemi will pass me on the street all day long, I'll pass you at the gas station. Even with a 26 gallon tank, I regularly see the Distance to Empty over 600 miles when I fill up.

I am one of those you speak of. I tend to drive on the slow side (retired no hurry) when on the highway ie 55-60 mph and have no problem getting right around 600 miles to a tank. Of the 1250 miles on the odo 100 of those are city (freeway) and the rest highway and I am getting 22 and change. When strictly doing a highway trip I can get 25 mpg without any sweat.

The neat thing here would be if you don't believe me that is all right. I just know that with my style of slow and easy I get decent mileage. In a whole day of driving the back roads of the good old USA I can say I pass absolutely nothing and this includes rv's busses and tractor trailers. Happy motoring :favorites13:

I would love to know how all these QCSB 4x4 people are getting anywhere near 20mpg. I just did a 1300 mile round trip in mine 14mpg average. Around town I can barely manage 12mpg. I drive very conservatively, especially in town, lots of coasting, etc. I'm starting to think I messed up by not getting the ED 3.0.

I've never reset this page's mpg avg in my 4014 QC 4X4 5.7L 6 Speed 3.55 differentials , I'm @ 34312 miles and my lifetime avg mpg ( evic #s ) is 19.7 , it's in the 18s in the winter time due to warming up the truck and winter fuel additives .
I just try to drive the ECO LIGHT. Try to keep it on most of the time by a slight adjustment on the pedal while driving pretty much any constant speed .
My truck is leveled with stock tires still.

I wish my truck had the ECO light. I have the 8.4 and EVIC in the dash so no eco light. I had one on my 2012 and I could regularly hit 18mpg with that truck. This new one just doesn't seem to get the mileage that the old one did.
