First fill up after buying my truck a week and a half ago. I got 215 miles out of the tank before the low fuel light came on and the computer said I have 50 miles to empty. I filled up and put in 24.5 gallons of fuel which means I should have had a little over 6 gallons in the 31 gallon tank. When does your fuel light come on, miles to empty or gallons remaining? How many gallons do you typically pump to full?

I did get two alignments on this tank of fuel where news to me they have to keep the truck running so it doesn’t go into auto-park. Both had the truck idling a total of an hour and a half, which no doubt spent a good amount of fuel.

Anyway, I just filled up so I’ll count this as my true baseline fill up.

Thats about what my 2019 hemi took if I filled up right when the light came on. It is typical that the truck will say you have zero miles until empty and still have 3 gallons remaining. My 2017 F250 was similar too.

I think the light comes on at either 30 or 50 miles to empty. I ran mine down to less than 15 once. We were heading to Costco and I had a gas can just in case. Truck took over 31 gallons of fuel. I am the sort that usually fills up at half a tank.

I have filled my ‘16 up many times with the low fuel light on. Rarely put anymore than 26 gallons in my apparent 31 gallon tank.
