Fixing nicks and scratches in my paint

So, I just traded in my 2019 Tradesman for a 2017 Sport "Night" edition. I noticed a couple nicks and scrapes in the paint. I want to keep the rust from growing/spreading. Is there anything I can do besides sanding down and sealing, painting, clear coat again?

Touch up pen/pencil maybe. Depends how many and how bad.
dings and dents can be taken out by those dent repair lads- most of them are really reallly good too.

It would depend on how bad they are. Some clear coat scrapes you may be able to buff out. Some small dents can be removed by the paintless dent repair company's if they aren't on a body line. I had a couple grocery cart dents repaired on my 11 ram and they did a fantastic job. He told me as long as the dent was not on a body line and was accessible with their tools they could fix it, and they did beautiful job. Your best bet would be to actually take it to a reputable body shop to let them see the problem areas so they can advise you of what would be the best way to repair. You dont have to let them do it but they are the best qualified to advise you

Unfortunately the only thing you can do to prevent it is not use the truck. The metal is thin and the paint is weak. I try to keep up with a paint pen on my 2019 classic, but I about need a paint roller for the rocker panels, etc.

PDR on the dents as said above and a Dodge bought touch up pen. Trust me on this one. Same price as duplicator and matches perfect. They take your VIN and get the exact touch up pen you need. My ram had several dents taken out through PDR. It is straight as an arrow.
