How much will a flip lower the rear? Just new springs to lower the front? Right now, I have 4 inches in front and 7 inches in rear. I would like to be around 1 on front and 2 on back so a 3/5 drop. I have 20s with 275/55/20 tires. Looks like a kit on the E bay store for less than $400 with a 2/ 4.5 drop. A flip in the rear and new shorter springs may be cheaper though as long as the rear drop with a flip is not too much. I appreciate any help and nice to find this place. In Oklahoma City, OK, here with a 2004 Rumble Bee magnum clone, lol. Hoping to make it look better.

So right now you have a 4/7 and you want I go to a 3/5? You should be able to put 2" drop springs up front. As for the back, in assuming you have the flip kit with stock shackles. The OEM shackles make the drop lower, so you need some longer shackles to make it around a 5" drop is all

Would several tack welds suffice or does it need to be fully welded?

Thx for the reply what I meant is I habe a gap of 4 on front and 7 in back now. I wNt lile 1-2 inches only on both. What would be most cost effective way to achieve this? I have never lowered a vehicle so new to this. Thx again.

You would have to get OEM front springs to replace the drop springs and for the back you'd have to get different shackles to bring it back up
