I have 2022 1500 Warlock with projector headlights , has anyone had a problem with them fogging up . I put leds in them a month ago don't think this is the issue but with my luck , well you know. Next warm day I will pop it out and make sure dust cap is sealed properly.

Throw a couple of these inside the light.

I live in a pretty humid environment where it rains about 9 months out of the year. Northwest WA, just a few miles south of Abbotsford, BC.

My OEM projectors have fogged for the entire time i've owned the truck. Over the years I have cleaned the vent caps several times, replaced the vent caps, I drilled holes and added goretex vents. The still fogged up, every time it rained, which is pretty much every day.

The last time I drilled them to add more goretex vent stickers, drilled the wrong spot, hit some circuit boards and screwed them up.

I bought a replacement set of used OEM projectors on eBay, and instead of messing with the vents, I just took WildOne's advice and threw 3 desiccant packs in each headlight.

No fogging since! Sometimes the easiest solution is the best one.

I made an ugly 'mudflap' that hangs between the headlight and fender liner that stopped my light fogging issue. Seemed that tire spray was getting past the little window in the liner.

It's just a piece of heavy garbage bag that I taped in there. Like I said, ugly.

LED = no heat. Thus they fog, and they will ice and snow over in the winter. Applies to fog, headlight and tail lights. I am not convinced they are a better solution for automotive lights. I switched my trailers back to incandescent because once the light gets snowed over, the guy behind you can't see them at all in the dark. I carry -40 windshield wiper fluid in a spray bottle to clean the ice and snow off the pickup's lights. At least on the pickup, the high mounted light usually stays snow free.

@smittyd174 check the vent caps on the back of the headlights, there's three of them. The caps are mentioned in this video:

I’m curious- for those of you using desiccant, do you open the pack and just pour in the beads through one of the lamp holes? Can you see them?
Thanks

No, definitely don't do that. That **** will be rolling around in there and shot peening your reflector every time you hit a chug hole.

Just stuff them in. Don't overthink it.

Remove the rear cover, insert desiccant packs, then replace the cover.
