Not sure that this is going to answer your question because i removed my fox box and put in an aftermarket dual 10" sub set up. I gained some depth and box size (cu in inside the box) by doing so. And im running a 3k watt amp with 2-750watt (RMS) 1500 watt peak subs. Pay attention to how they like to be hooked up too. For instance my amp has the most raw power with my subs able to handel it at max by wireing in my subs in series parrael because of the way it sets the ohm load going into the amp.

My point being if you get any amp and sub set up as long as you make sure the subs use the dementions and air space and wire them up correctly you dont need a **** ton of watts to make it very loud. Hope this helps a bit. Best of luck. Let us know what you end up going with?
