Fram ultra synthetic oil filter new style

Guys, I have looking for a NAPA PLATINUM oil filter for my Ram. Unless NAPA dealers are fooling with me, they claim they can not locate one at any warehouse in the US. They have everything else, but no Platinum.

You can get the larger size that were on the earlier 5.7, both of these will work

I have been using the Fram you asked about . I only go about 3500 miles a year so my filter don't really get put to much of a test . I used the SRT once but the Fram being on the shelf at Wally world is just more convenient . Not much of a test for the RL 5w30 either but anything to keep the tick away

I got 3 of the Platnium PFL 47045. It is a tall filter, but nearly identical in other dimensions. The date code was 2015.
I'm still OK with the Fram Ultra's even without the wire mesh, there is quite a bit more dual layer media in the new filters.

I bought a the standard six in bulk pack of 12 sadly before realizing I should've ran the wix xp or similar synthetic media filter. I just end up changing the filter half way through my oci until I use it up.

Rockauto seems to be the best place I've come across here in Canada.
