funny noise??

while i start to go my truck starts whining and i just replaced my ujoints and i dont know whats goin on? should i take it to the shop? it doesnt stop with speed either.

no, its not coming from the front, more along the center to back, i checked my transfercase to see if if wansnt unlocking all the way, but thats not it, gota be somethin in the rear end dont you think?

maybe turn the key before you start it and see if it makes the noise?
not many moving parts in the rear at an idle that could make a whining.

no, not while its idleing, when i start to go. its sometihng that moves.

maybe something caught in the wheel or somethin. could jack the rear up put stop blocks in front and have the tires spinning so you can tell exactly where its coming from. or check around for anything out of the ordinary.

if its gears, just gives you a reason to get 4:56!

Check your trans fluid level for staters, that could make a simialr noise and its right by the transfer case if your thinking its thr tcase. Only other thing to check would be your rear. Clip could have come off of the LSD, pull the rear cover and take a peak.
