I'd say your doing pretty good. I don't like to run as fast as you do. I like to run 57mph and my fuel mileage stays around 24.7mpg on paper.

Evic readings dont mean much. Hand calculate for your real mileage. So many take the evic as gospel. I can usually tell evic readings when shown in tenths, 22.4 or such. Hand calculations will show mpg in hundredths, 20.02, 21.55, etc.

Meh...doesn't mean anything for people like me who round up. Hundredths of a mpg is insignificant. But you're right about the evic reading.

It was a hand calc based on fuel gallons purchased and miles traveled. I can calc out additional decimals if you like or 2.24E1 or 2.24X 10^1. :)

Would love to get 22. I'm lucky to get 17! And I don't hot rod, just normal daily driving.

That's pretty much where I am too. I wish the evic was correct though. I'd love to be averaging about 18.4 mpg. Oh well, at least it's about 2 mpg better than my Laramie was getting. Must be the 3.21 versus 3.92 gearing.

I drive it like I stolt it..

My hand calculations were about 1 to 1-1/2 mpg lower than the EVIC. Still got over 20 though.

Compared to my old big blocks anything over 10 or 11 is good, I’ve got 456s and run around 18 mpg if I don’t get to crazy. But in flat South Florida.

I would be thrilled with 22's but just isn't happening with 3.92's.

I can pull low 30's mpg all day long in the Keys, if I could afford to live there :) 4 cyl. mode is amazing. That 34 mpg was with cruise control on and varied from 29-36 mpg.

Fairly typical mileage for me too. I usually set adaptive cruise at 72 and watch the EVIC. My hand calc usually ends up at 1mpg less than EVIC, so I'm REALLY happy with the overall fuel mileage of the Hemi. Coming from an EcoDiesel Jeep Grand Cherokee getting over 30mpg regularly it was an adjustment mentally, but logically the math works out pretty darn close.

Love this truck.

I'm far past MPG. I'm more of a SPM guy.

Smiles Per Minute, for those who don't understand.

As ridiculous how expensive fuel can be, it's peanuts when compared to the cost of the truck and how much enjoyment I get out of it.

If I were the least bit concerned about MPG, AND "needed" a full-sized truck I'd get a Pentastar or EcoDiesel. Or maybe just get a Prius and a 1987 D200 for those rare days I "needed" it.

I am there with you..... I do not own a 4wd, four door truck with a Hemi to be concerned about gas mileage...... I run it like I stolt it.
