I'd say your doing pretty good. I don't like to run as fast as you do. I like to run 57mph and my fuel mileage stays around 24.7mpg on paper.2021 Ram Big Horn 5.7 hemi. Round trip Boston to Detroit. torneau cover. average speed around 70 mph. regular gas. tires at 40 psi. 22.4 mpg.
22.4 sounds great, I'd take that
That's pretty much where I am too. I wish the evic was correct though. I'd love to be averaging about 18.4 mpg. Oh well, at least it's about 2 mpg better than my Laramie was getting. Must be the 3.21 versus 3.92 gearing.Would love to get 22. I'm lucky to get 17! And I don't hot rod, just normal daily driving.
I am there with you..... I do not own a 4wd, four door truck with a Hemi to be concerned about gas mileage...... I run it like I stolt it.I'm far past MPG. I'm more of a SPM guy.

As ridiculous how expensive fuel can be, it's peanuts when compared to the cost of the truck and how much enjoyment I get out of it.
If I were the least bit concerned about MPG, AND "needed" a full-sized truck I'd get a Pentastar or EcoDiesel. Or maybe just get a Prius and a 1987 D200 for those rare days I "needed" it.
