Gauge Pod Mod!

So after getting my t1000 I couldnt decide where I wanted to mount it...and after a few days i thought to myself, "having it right in the vent would be sweet". I didnt like the pillar mount because it didnt fit 100% and it was easy to spot by a peeping tom. So I designed myself an insert. With the use of Solidworks, a 3D printer and a small dremel (for those little imperfections) I was able to create something I like. I want to redesign it since there were things I noticed that could be improved upon so maybe in the near future ill get a better product. But for now this will do!

Pay no attention to the peeling wrap on the dash lol. Needs to be redone.

I have a soft spot for this install. I especially like the Diablo logo underneath. You've made it your own, and that is what is so cool about our trucks. Well done.

Now WTF is up with that AZ dust?? You got the cabin filter mod done? That would drive me nuts. LOL.

Haha thanks. When I first had it designed without the logo it looked so bland. Adding the logo definitely helped.

As far as the dust goes...I can't keep up with it. I literally cleaned it Saturday morning .And it's back again.

I would definitely have to have a more polished product before I were to offer it to anyone. Definitely do able but I need another vent so that I could actually develop and engineer a solution. I actually use to be a vendor for the Caliber SRT4's making a bunch of different components. Good Times.
