Just curious what /if any gauges you guys have in your ride? I have seen a few post about an A/F gauge.... is it a good idea to monitor the ratio? Do you run an Oil Pressure gauge that actually reads the pressure vs. the factory "guess" gauge?

I was thinking about this yesterday, i currently use the guess guages via diablo predator in my 2012. My 73 has aftermarket oil pressure oil temperature and transmission temperature guages. I want something like those for my 12

It all depends on what you do with the vehicle. If you tow then a trans temp gauge is handy, performance beyond basic bolt ons can benefit from an AFR gauge for better tuning capabilities. If you're stock then save your money unless you just really want to know, then get a trinity and enjoy both performance gains and an instant readout for the same price as an intune and gauge.

My old truck ran an AFR gauge, fuel pressure, voltage, nitrous pressure, and a trans temp gauge. My new truck runs/will run a boost, fuel pressure, AFR, nitrous pressure, nitrous management center, and a trans temp.

AeroForce Interceptor simply plugs into the OBDII port and reads most of the factory installed sensors from the single gauge, including trans temp. I usually have mine set to read engine temp and trans temp.

Check with any of our venders, I'm sure they can get it for you or go to the AeroForce site.

Thanks Red....

I was in Virginia a year or so ago with my job, spent about 7.5 months working there.... Little town called Hopewell, just outside of Richmond.... was doing some work at the Honeywell Plant.

Those look really cool. Kinda silly of me, but I would do those even just for looks. :****:

Thanks, the AerForce reads a ton of stuff, AFR is important, fuel pressure is necessary as I have an adjustable fuel regulator, and the shift lite/tach is highly visible used for shifting. All necessary inputs in my book. Plus there is a transmission Line pressure gage mounted next to the shifter.

Now if this plugs into the OBDII port, would there be any issue with using it with a SC3865 other than unplugging the gauge to use the tuner or does the tuner stay plugged in at all times?

Please forgive my ignorance, I have never used one of those type tuners before.

The AeroForce stays plugged in all of the time. When I need to use the SC to change a tune o do diagnoses I unplug the Aeroforce. There are splitters available so both could be plugged in or if you want to run two Aeroforce gauges. You can also data log performance runs using the Aeroforce.

The gauges are pretty expensive, probably just stick with one for now..... and according to a post from GENO's they now have the A-pillar handle/pod pieces, so that might work out pretty well with the one gauge.

Thanks for all your help and time answering my questions Red, much appreciated.
