Last fill up I was at 320 miles on the trip meter, with 50 miles till empty. When it hits a quarter I fill up.

I have yet to do it manually

Wait a second... I'm posting from an iPhone?

How much was it to get your gears installed ? I have someone willing to trade me 4.56 gears but I've never upgraded gears before so I know nothing about it

First your ram needs to be a 09-11 year wise for a straight swap. Is your ram a 4x4? I paid $1900 for front and rear with a LSD installed.

There is a thread on here where someone did a 4.10 and a LSD on a 13 or a 12.

Slide, you need tow hooks on the front of that beast.

Looks good, tho. What tires are those? How do you like them.

Man do I wish there was an axle upgrade available for us! I regeared my Mustang (i know, different animal) but my god was it the best mod I did, hands down. I would do 4.10's in a heartbeat.

Wonder what it'd be like towing with those on the highway. Hmm... Ideas forming.

3.92 to 4.10 isn't a lot of difference. If your going to do gears I personally would make the jump to 4.56. If the parts are available I wouldn't be shocked if it wasent 1000 a axle to get the swap done. The 4.56 will be nice performance upgrade all around better acceleration, make towing little easier, and will compensate for larger wheels and tires very well all good reasons to swap. Mpg take it or leave it if your tossing 2000 at gears is 2-4mpg really that big of a deal? That's my view. I would personally love the 3.92 4.10 or 4.56 I currently have 3.55 but it not worth it to me once again just a personal preference.

Reason for me was the compensating for bigger tires and less wear on the transmission. I had the 3.55 and one wheel wonder. My mpgs went a little I'm at 13.4 with some driving hitting 45-55 mph for 10-15min drives. Then the rest are 4mi of stop lights. Before I was looking at 11.6 almost 12mpg. When I'm straight city with 4.56 its 12.6. But everybody's truck will be a little different with mpg's after a gear swap. I personally wouldn't do a gear swap just for mpg's.
