6½lb/ft for the heat shield

Thread lock won't hold up to that kind of heat. That's how you overcome thread lock by hitting it with high heat.

Use a good quality anti-seaze on the bolts.If you use Remflex 6022 gaskets,they only call for 20 lb-ft and don't require re-torqueing.
